Information Collected or Received Natural Commerce will not disclose your name, email address or other personal information to third parties without your explicit consent, except as specified in this policy.
As a Natural Commerce member you are required to provide a valid email address at registration and choose a username or alias that may represent your identity on Natural Commerce.
Depending on which services you choose to use, Natural Commerce may require additional information, such as a shop name, billing and payment information (including billing address, telephone number, credit card information), a telephone number, and/or a physical postal address. Natural Commerce may contact individual shop owners to confidentially request more information about their shops or items listed on the Site, to ensure compliance with our rules. Certain products or services on Natural Commerce may require you to complete an application; any information you submit through the application processes will not be displayed publicly and will only be used internally by Natural Commerce, unless otherwise specified.
You may optionally choose to provide your full name and other personal information (such as birthday, gender, location) to be publicly displayed in connection with your account and activity.
Natural Commerce automatically receives and records some information from your browser or your mobile device when you visit the Site or use the Apps, such as your IP address or unique device identifier, cookies and data about which pages you visit on the Site or on the Apps. This information helps us analyze and understand how the Site and the Apps work for members and visitors, and provide a more personalized experience for members and visitors. Natural Commerce may receive or collect information (for example: an email address) about a person who is not yet a registered Natural Commerce member (a “non-member”) in connection with certain Natural Commerce features, including but not limited to: a non-member subscribing to an Natural Commerce newsletter, a member inviting a non-member to visit the Site, a non-member engaging in a transaction, or a member sending a gift card code to a non-member. Non-member information is used only for the purpose it was originally submitted to Natural Commerce. A non-member can contact Natural Commerce Support if they do not want Natural Commerce to retain their information.
Natural Commerce uses the information described in this policy to provide and improve our services and products, for billing and payments, for identification and authentication, for targeted online marketing, to contact members or interested parties, and for general research and aggregate reporting.
Choice & Control
We know members of our community value having control over their own information, and therefore Natural Commerce gives you the choice of providing, editing or removing certain information, as well as choice over how we contact you.
If you no longer wish to use Natural Commerce’s services or receive service-related messages, then you may close your account.
Messages From Natural Commerce
On occasion, Natural Commerce will contact you. Primarily, messages are delivered by email or by push notifications, and every account is required to keep a valid email address on file to receive messages. In some situations, Natural Commerce may contact you by telephone, SMS message or physical mail in order to provide you with customer support or to provide you with information about products and features you my find of interest.
Some messages from Natural Commerce are service-related and required for members. Examples of service-related messages include, but are not limited to: a welcome/confirmation email when you register your account, notification of an order, or correspondence with Natural Commerce’s support team. These messages are not promotional in nature. You may not opt-out of receiving service-related messages from Natural Commerce, unless you close your account.
As a member, Natural Commerce may also send you messages related to certain features or your activity on the Site or Apps. Natural Commerce may also send you news or updates about changes to our Site, Apps, or services. By default, members will receive these messages via email or push notifications through the Apps, but you may choose to opt-out of getting certain messages through the settings on your Natural Commerce account or mobile device.
Natural Commerce offers optional email newsletters. When you register for an account, or choose to subscribe, you will receive newsletters from us. Newsletters are available to both members and non-members. Members may subscribe or unsubscribe from optional newsletters under your account settings or by following the instructions contained in the newsletter emails. Non-members may subscribe by providing an email address, which will only be used by Natural Commerce for these newsletters. Non-members may unsubscribe from newsletters by following the instructions contained in the newsletter emails.
Information Sharing & Disclosure
We want to respect your privacy. Natural Commerce will not disclose your name, email address or other personal information to third parties without your explicit consent, except as specified in this policy.
Natural Commerce limits access to your personal information to employees who we believe reasonably need to come into contact with that information to provide products or services to you or in order to do their jobs.
Natural Commerce is affiliated with a variety of businesses and works closely with them. These businesses may offer promotions or sell items or services to you through Natural Commerce’s services. Natural Commerce may also provide services or sell products jointly with affiliated businesses. Due to the nature of our business model, when an affiliated business is associated with your transaction, we may share information that is related to such transaction with that affiliated business. Natural Commerce may share aggregated demographic information with business partners.
We can only speak for ourselves; this policy does not apply to the practices of third parties that Natural Commerce does not own or control, or individuals that Natural Commerce does not employ or manage. If you provide your information to others on Natural Commerce or throughout the Internet, different rules may apply to the use or disclosure of the information you provide to them. Natural Commerce does not control the privacy policies of third parties, and you are subject to the privacy policies of those third parties where applicable. Natural Commerce is not responsible for the privacy or security practices of other websites on the Internet, even those linked to or from the Natural Commerce Site or Apps. We encourage you to ask questions before you disclose your personal information to others.
Natural Commerce will retain your information only for as long as is necessary or your account is active or as needed to provide you services. If you no longer want Natural Commerce to use your information to provide you services, you may close your account. Natural Commerce will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
You may inform us of any changes or requests in regards to your personal data, and in accordance with our obligations under local data protection law, we may update or delete your personal data accordingly.
